Water Trail I'm writing and photographing a new book for Sasquatch Press titled Watertrail. Using a sea kayak I'll follow the new Cascadia Marine Trail through Puget Sound. En route I describe its people, its wilderness, its history and its uniqueness as well as the daily adventure of a 400 miles solo paddle.
The Hanford Reach I'm working with the Nature Conservancy on the Hanford Reach in Washington State, the last free flowing stretch of the Columbia River that runs through the Atomic Energy Commission nuclear site. Now this last salmon spawning redd on Columbia and the grasslands surrounding it is being returned to the public but for what use?
